Radio Hospital was founded in 1933 as an FM radio sales and service business hence the name ‘Radio Hospital’. In 1953 we became a service partner for Motorola Solutions and later added a sales team for the full portfolio of Motorola Solutions communications products. In 1993, concurring with the expansion of our Two-Way Telecommunications division, Radio Hospital also became the first retailer in Northwestern Ohio for Cellular One the leading cellular service provider in the Midwest. Later, Cellular One merged with Air Touch cellular and then with Verizon Wireless. In 2004, coinciding with the expansion of our Carrier Retail Stores, Radio Hospital also started a Wholesale Cellular division to purchase cellular devices in large quantities allowing us to offer more value to our customers. Radio Hospital continued growing and expanding our Cellular Retail Footprint and our Wholesale Cellular Division for several years. At the end of 2019, Radio Hospital divested its Carrier Retail Stores to focus exclusively on its Wholesale Cellular Division. Although we mainly focus on servicing our Enterprise and other Wholesale Channel Customers, we still offer phones and devices at reduced prices to the end-user and customer at often much greater values than the wireless carrier and big box retail stores.
