Conditional routing
The conditions decide the path.
Each device’s own attributes — read at intake — determine every step that follows. The workflow runs the same way on the first device of the day and the fifty-thousandth.
- Receiving
Every device enters at intake, where the workflow reads its model, grade, source, and condition. Those attributes are the conditions the rest of the routing is built on — no operator has to decide where a device goes.
- Diagnostics & Erasure
Devices flow from Receiving into a full 80-point diagnostic inspection and then into Erasure. Every device is erased — ADISA-certified — before it can move to any downstream channel.
- Disposition by grade
After Erasure the workflow fans out by grade: Grade A devices are listed on the marketplace, Grade B/C devices route to repair & refurbish to be re-graded and re-listed, and end-of-life devices route to certified recycling.
An express line for the devices that don’t need testing.
Not every device has to take the full path. A conditional express line can route a device straight from Receiving to Erasure, skipping diagnostics — while every other device still runs the full 80-point inspection first. Either way, every device is erased before it leaves the floor.
