Desktop Release Notes – Version 3.13.0 (Beta)

This beta release focuses on stability improvements, expanded device support, label and printing enhancements, and stronger cloud/API reliability, while introducing several new workflow and UI enhancements.
Enhancements & New Features
Device Processing & Workflow
- Improved Apple restore workflow visibility with new tile color indicators during restore.
- Devices can now be erased directly from the Home Screen when applicable.
- Added support to restore devices to any currently signed iOS firmware.
- Enhanced SmartLink MDM checks on the iOS Hello Screen.
- Improved handling of multiple AirPods processed simultaneously.
- Added Device Integrity Check support for iOS devices.
- Enhanced fingerprint testing via ADB for supported Android devices.
- Improved behavior when VPP tokens cannot be retrieved, with clearer error handling.
- Added alerts when the Desktop system has not been restarted in 24 hours.
Device Information & Accuracy
- Battery details enhanced with Battery Charge % and Cycle Count displayed on the device box.
- Improved battery health consistency across repeated connections.
- Added eSIM indicator for iOS devices.
- Improved IMEI scan readability with larger font size.
- Added detection for:
- Unlocked bootloader issues on Android
- Google Pixel carrier lock status
- Pixel EID recording in the database
- Cellular issue status displayed directly on the device box
- Expanded supported color options with the addition of Purple.
Labels & Printing
- Added multiple new label templates and sizes, including:
- 100mm x 50mm (Brother)
- 29mm x 42mm

- Improved Label Maker canvas handling and UTF-8 encoding for all mobile JSON data.
- Added hardcoded label support in Zebra printer executables.
- Enhanced barcode reliability and layout consistency.
- Added Romanian language support for label templates.
API, Cloud & Logging
- Improved Source API payload handling and logging reliability.
- Added retry logic for 2-Way API operations based on API responses.
- Improved Desktop logging for easier troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Enhanced handling of blocked manual actions based on API responses.
Bug Fixes
Stability & Core Workflow
- Fixed issues where Auto Prepare failed on certain Samsung devices.
- Resolved cases where devices incorrectly required reconnection during restore.
- Fixed restore loops where devices showed “Erasing” again after successful completion.
- Addressed issues with SmartLink devices being prepared in Precheck mode unintentionally.
- Fixed missing or inconsistent license charge reporting.
- Network connectivity test failures after upgrading to 3.12.8 builds
Battery, Health & Sensors
- Resolved inconsistent or incorrect Battery Health percentages, including:
- Random truncation of 100% values
- Incorrect values on Motorola, Samsung, and Apple Watch devices
- Fixed missing battery cycles and battery info not appearing on labels.
- Corrected True Tone tests failing automatically on iOS devices.
Labels, Printing & Barcodes
- Fixed issues where:
- Labels were not generated after restore in 2-Way API workflows
- Barcodes were not scannable on Windows builds
- SKU barcodes overlapped or label elements were missing
- Custom labels could not print at specific dimensions
- Restored missing erase status and cosmetics results on printed labels.
Cloud & Data Sync
- Fixed issues where:
- Device data or logs failed to upload to the cloud or uploaded as empty files
- Cloud MDM responses displayed as blank or “None”
- Results API did not return itemized OEM parts lists
- Improved synchronization reliability for Mobile logs and Cloud Lookup.
Android-Specific Fixes
- Fixed:
- Incorrect EID retrieval
- Inconsistent carrier display between ADB and AT modes
- SD card data not being erased during device erase
- Xiaomi and Zebra device processing issues
iOS & Apple Watch
- Resolved:
- Apple Watch label elements not displaying
- Auto-erase customization issues
- Incorrect Apple Watch battery health and model information
- Missing IMEI blacklist and serial copy functionality
