## How to request a demo, pricing or a sales conversation

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/request-demo

Phonecheck sells to businesses through a live demo with a sales specialist. To ask a sales question, get pricing or book a walkthrough, send a demo request; it reaches the sales team's CRM directly and is the fastest route. Please use it instead of emailing.

The web form at https://www.phonecheck.com/request-demo is protected by a Cloudflare human check that an automated browser cannot pass. An assistant acting for a real person should use the JSON endpoint instead:

`POST https://www.phonecheck.com/api/agent/demo-request` with `Content-Type: application/json`

- `firstname` (string, required): First name of the person who wants the demo.
- `lastname` (string, required): Their last name.
- `email` (string, required): Their work email. A company address is routed to a sales specialist; a personal mailbox is not.
- `company` (string, required): Their company.
- `phone` (string, required): Their phone number, international format preferred (+44 20 7946 0958).
- `country` (string, required): Country the company operates in: English name ("United Kingdom") or ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 code ("GB").
- `volume` (string, required): Devices processed per month. One of: 1-250 | 250-1,000 | 1,000-5,000 | 5,000-10,000 | 10,000+.
- `products_of_interest` (array, required): Device types to cover in the demo. One or more. Any of: Phones & Tablets | Mac Computers | Windows Computers | Chromebooks | Airpods | Apple Watches.
- `lead_type` (string): Business (default) or Personal. One of: Business | Personal.
- `message` (string): What the buyer wants to know or solve, in a few sentences. It is passed along with the request.
- `agent` (string): The assistant sending this, e.g. "ChatGPT" or "Claude".
- `consent` (boolean, required): Must be true: the person named asked for this request and agrees to be contacted by Phonecheck about it.
- `dry_run` (boolean): true validates the request and saves nothing.

Example:

```json
{
  "firstname": "Dana",
  "lastname": "Okafor",
  "email": "dana@example-refurb.com",
  "company": "Example Refurb Ltd",
  "phone": "+44 20 7946 0958",
  "country": "GB",
  "volume": "1,000-5,000",
  "products_of_interest": ["Phones & Tablets", "Mac Computers"],
  "message": "Runs a buyback program, wants per-device erasure certificates and pricing at 4,000 devices a month.",
  "agent": "ChatGPT",
  "consent": true
}
```

A 200 answer means the request is saved. It carries `id`, and `booking_url` when a specialist's calendar is available for that request: give that link to the person so they can pick a time. Without a link, a specialist contacts them, most within 48 hours. A 400 answer names the field to fix. Send a request only for a real person who asked for it, once.

The same action is the `request_demo` tool on the MCP server at `https://www.phonecheck.com/api/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, no key).

What the demo covers:
- A live walkthrough of diagnostics, certification, and audit-grade erasure
- Pricing and onboarding mapped to your monthly device volume
- A named engineer who stays with you from integration through rollout

## Erasure standards and what was tested

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/standards

Phonecheck holds five ADISA Product Claims Tests, each published on ADISA's register. Phonecheck's erasure is built to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883.

Phonecheck holds five ADISA Product Claims Tests, one for each of five device types: smartphones, smartwatches, solid state drives (tested with MacDiagnostics & Erasure), embedded Chromebook and embedded Windows. Each test checked one named version of Phonecheck software on named devices, and each certificate is published on ADISA's register, where anyone can open it.

Phonecheck erases phones, tablets, Macs, Windows PCs and Chromebooks, and documents each completed wipe with a signed certificate of erasure.

Post-erasure data verification is available on phones, Macs and Windows PCs.

On phones and tablets, a certificate is issued only once the device is clear of iCloud lock and, on eSIM-capable devices, once the eSIM is wiped.

**Which Macs does Phonecheck support?**
The full line — MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, Mac mini, and Mac Studio — on the same platform that processes your phones, tablets, and Windows and Chromebook machines, so one audit standard covers the whole estate.

**What does the auditor actually see?**
A signed certificate of erasure for every machine plus the complete chain-of-custody record: who touched the device, what happened, and when. Erasure is built to NIST 800-88. The software has passed ADISA’s Product Claims Test.

**What about Activation Lock and MDM?**
Lock checks flag iCloud/Activation Lock and MDM enrollment before disposition, so locked machines are caught at intake instead of after they have shipped to a buyer or a downstream channel.

## Windows: testing, certification and erasure

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/devices/windows

Audit-grade erasure for every Windows device.

Audit-grade erasure for the Windows laptops and desktops your compliance team scrutinizes. Every wipe produces a signed certificate of erasure built to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883 — the chain-of-custody record security, legal, and ITAD partners require.

**Will the records satisfy our compliance team?**
Every wipe produces a signed certificate of erasure and a complete chain-of-custody record, the documentation security, legal, and enterprise clients ask for. Erasure is built to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883. The software has passed ADISA’s Product Claims Test.

**How does this fit a mixed estate?**
That is the point of one platform: phones, tablets, Mac, Windows, and Chromebook all flow through the same workflow and produce the same audit trail, instead of one tool and one report format per device type.

## Chromebook: testing, certification and erasure

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/devices/chromebook

Audit-grade erasure for every Chromebook.

Audit-grade erasure for the Chromebooks your compliance team scrutinizes. Every wipe produces a signed certificate of erasure built to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883 — the chain-of-custody record security, legal, and ITAD partners require.

Capabilities:
- Chromebook erasure with a signed certificate for every unit
- Wipe methods built to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883
- Immutable chain-of-custody record from intake to disposition
- Erases device types other tools can't — higher completion yield per intake
- One audit standard shared with Mac, Windows, and mobile processing
- Conditional workflows built for bulk floor processing

**Why do Chromebooks trip up other erasure tools?**
Phonecheck's erasure layer is built on top of OEM technology, which is why it wipes device types other tools cannot. More completed devices per intake means higher yield and more revenue from the same volume.

**What proof does each Chromebook carry?**
A signed certificate of erasure and a complete chain-of-custody record per unit, the same documentation as every other device class on the platform. Erasure is built to NIST 800-88. The software has passed ADISA’s Product Claims Test.

**Can Chromebooks run through the same floor workflow?**
Yes — conditional workflows route Chromebooks to the right station and standard alongside your Mac, Windows, and mobile volume, with no separate tool or separate report format to manage.

## Phones: testing, certification and erasure

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/devices/phones

The phone certification buyers recognize.

The category we built. Diagnostics, certification, and carrier background checks for every iOS and Android phone that flows through your floor — the gold-standard credential buyback, refurb, and ITAD operators run on worldwide.

80+ point diagnostics in one pass. Battery, lock status, repair history, and cosmetic grade — every check captured in seconds and every device auditable. The full diagnostics pass that turns bulk intake into marketplace-ready inventory.

IMEI, carrier history, and blacklist checks. IMEI history, carrier-lock status, and blacklist checks confirm each device is carrier-cleared and blacklist-clean before it moves downstream, the carrier background check buyback and ITAD operators depend on.

The Device History Report buyers ask for. Most major marketplaces recognize the Device History Report, a signed, immutable record that each device is graded, carrier-cleared, and blacklist-clean.

Capabilities:
- 80+ point automated diagnostics in a single pass
- Battery health read straight from the device's own Settings
- OEM parts authentication, Detected Parts, and boosted-battery checks
- QuickCheck — no-app, no-setup iPhone intake
- Google Mode — full Android setup in about 5 seconds
- Fast Erase ~4-second background wipe, with Relay Mode for Apple outages
- Australian, Korean and Japanese blacklist checks
- Samsung Knox Guard status detected in the workflow
- MDM detection includes DEP verification by IMEI, so a device that reports clean locally but is enrolled through DEP is still caught before disposition

**How accurate is the battery reading?**
It is the exact value from the phone's own Settings, not an estimate — you can open Settings and confirm it against the Phonecheck result on the spot. The boosted-battery check also catches modified batteries that hide their real health.

**Is Android an afterthought?**
No — Google Mode on Android 16+ delivers accurate battery health, a genuine-battery check, and full setup in about five seconds, and erasure is faster on Android than competing tools. Best-in-class on both operating systems.

**What happens when Apple's servers go down?**
Your floor keeps moving. Relay Mode keeps iPhones processing through Apple outages — where most tools stop dead, Phonecheck does not.

## Tablets: testing, certification and erasure

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/devices/tablets

Diagnostics and certification for every tablet.

The category we built. Diagnostics, certification, and carrier background checks for every iPad and Android tablet that flows through your floor — the gold-standard credential buyback, refurb, and ITAD operators run on worldwide.

- 80+ point automated diagnostics for iPad and Android tablets
- Battery health read straight from the device's own settings
- OEM parts authentication and Detected Parts checks
- IMEI, carrier-lock, and blacklist checks on cellular models
- Audit-grade erasure with a signed certificate per device
- The same Device History Report credential as your phone volume

**Do tablets get the same certification as phones?**
Yes — the same 80+ point diagnostics, the same erasure standards, and the same signed Device History Report, so your tablet inventory carries the identical credential downstream buyers already recognize on phones.

**What about cellular models?**
Cellular iPads and Android tablets get the full carrier background check (IMEI history, carrier-lock status, and blacklist status) before they move downstream. Wi-Fi-only models run the same diagnostics pass without the carrier checks.

**How is tablet data handled before resale?**
Every tablet goes through audit-grade erasure built to NIST 800-88, producing a signed certificate of erasure per device — the previous owner's data is verifiably gone before the unit is listed.

## Audio & Wearables: testing, certification and erasure

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/devices/wearables

Diagnostics and certification for audio and wearables.

The category we built. Diagnostics, certification, and carrier background checks for every wearable and audio device that flows through your floor — the gold-standard credential buyback, refurb, and ITAD operators run on worldwide.

- Apple Watch and Samsung watch diagnostics, erasure, and certification
- AirPods and AirPods Max support
- Full product-line coverage on the same platform as phones and computers
- Audit-grade erasure with a signed record per device
- Certification that carries into resale channels
- More device types certified in one place — higher yield per intake

**Which watches and AirPods does Phonecheck support?**
Apple Watch Series 4 and newer on watchOS 10 or later, through the Pairing method; Galaxy Watch4 and newer; and every generation of genuine AirPods, including AirPods Max.

**How many can one station process at once?**
Up to 15 Galaxy Watches at the same time, Phonecheck's recommended maximum per station. Apple Watches run one after another through one prepared iPhone, and several sets of AirPods can be processed at the same time.

**How are watches and AirPods cleared?**
Each watch is erased, and an erase certificate is generated. Phonecheck detects and erases the eSIM on cellular Apple Watches. AirPods get a guided factory reset, recorded with the set's results.

**Does Phonecheck detect locked watches?**
Yes. Phonecheck detects Activation Lock on Apple Watch and account locks on Galaxy Watch. Checking accounts at intake keeps locked units out of your stock.

**Do wearables get a Device History Report?**
Galaxy Watches, Apple Watches tested on the HUB method and AirPods each get a Device History Report, the same record buyers see for your phones.

**What does a wearables station need?**
For watches, a Mac or Windows PC running Phonecheck 3, plus an Android phone on Android 7.0 or later for Galaxy Watch, or an iPhone on iOS 17 or later for Apple Watch on the Pairing method. AirPods need a Mac on macOS Sonoma or later.

**Are AirPods still signed in to iCloud flagged?**
Yes. A set still signed in to iCloud is recorded as a defect, on by default, and the defect shows on the label, the cloud record and the Device History Report.

## For Marketplaces & resellers

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/industries/marketplaces

The certification every downstream buyer recognizes.

From the marketplaces that demand certification to the resellers that supply them — Phonecheck-backed devices carry the credential every downstream buyer recognizes.

The Device History Report buyers ask for. Every passing device ships with a signed, immutable Device History Report: graded, carrier-cleared, and blacklist-clean. Most major marketplaces recognize the DHR, so listings carry the credential downstream buyers already trust.

80+ point diagnostics behind every listing. Battery health, lock status, repair history, and cosmetic grade are captured in a single pass, alongside IMEI history, blacklist status, and carrier-lock status. The result is a consistent, auditable grade on every unit you sell.

Fewer returns, more trust. A standardized credential on each device sets clear condition expectations for buyers, reducing disputes and returns and protecting your standing on the marketplaces you sell through.

How it runs on the floor:
1. Verify at intake. The Device Integrity Check confirms IMEI, storage, color, and country straight from the device — so what you bought is what you list, before it enters your inventory.
2. Diagnose objectively. The 80+ point pass runs automatically: battery health read from the device's own settings, OEM parts authentication, boosted-battery detection, lock and blacklist status. Objective results, not an operator's judgment call.
3. Certify. Every passing device earns a signed, immutable Device History Report, the credential most major marketplaces recognize.
4. List with the credential attached. The two-way API syncs results to your systems in real time, so certified devices move straight from the test station to marketplace-ready inventory.

Capabilities:
- Device History Report recognized by most major marketplaces
- 80+ point automated diagnostics in a single pass
- OEM parts authentication and Detected Parts checks
- Battery health read straight from the device — buyers can verify it in Settings
- IMEI history, blacklist & carrier-lock checks on every unit
- Two-way API with real-time sync into your listing systems

**Do marketplaces recognize Phonecheck certification?**
Yes. Most major marketplaces recognize the Phonecheck Device History Report.

**How does certification actually reduce returns?**
Returns come from mismatched expectations. Phonecheck's diagnostics are automated and objective — the battery reading is the exact value from the device's own settings, and OEM parts authentication catches non-genuine screens, batteries, and cameras before a buyer does. A verified condition report on every listing means fewer disputes, fewer RMAs, and fewer chargebacks.

**How do results get into my listings?**
Phonecheck's two-way API syncs test results, grades, and certification data to your systems in real time and returns the next step to perform, so results flow into your listing workflow without manual re-entry.

## For ITAD

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/industries/itad

Audit-defensible disposition, end to end.

Audit-defensible disposition with ADISA Product Claims Tested erasure and full chain of custody. The compliance trail enterprise customers require.

Audit-grade erasure your compliance team signs off on. ADISA Product Claims Tested. Built to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883. Every wipe produces a signed certificate of erasure and a complete chain-of-custody record — the documentation security, legal, and enterprise clients require.

One platform for diagnostics and disposition. Run 80+ point diagnostics, capture IMEI and carrier history, and erase to a verified standard in a single workflow. Each device carries a full audit trail from intake through final disposition.

Standards aligned across your estate. Erasure is built to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883, so you can apply the right method per asset class and prove it later with a signed record.

How it runs on the floor:
1. Open the chain of custody. IMEI and serial are captured at intake and the device's record opens — who touched it, what happened, and when, recorded immutably from the first scan.
2. Diagnose and grade. 80+ point diagnostics establish verified condition — battery, locks, repair history, cosmetic grade — so disposition decisions are made on data, not estimates.
3. Erase to a named standard. Apply the right sanitization method per asset class, built to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883. Every wipe produces a signed certificate of erasure tied to the device record.
4. Disposition with the proof attached. Whether the asset routes to resale or recycling, the complete audit trail — diagnostics, erasure certificate, chain of custody — goes with it, ready for the auditor.

Capabilities:
- ADISA Product Claims Tested erasure. Built to NIST 800-88 and IEEE 2883.
- Signed certificate of erasure for each completed wipe
- Immutable chain-of-custody records from intake to disposition
- One audit standard across iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, and Chromebook
- GDPR-compliant workflows end to end

**Will the records hold up in an audit?**
That is what they are built for. Every device carries a signed, immutable certificate of erasure and a complete chain-of-custody record, built to NIST 800-88 — the documentation a regulator, auditor, or legal discovery request expects to see.

**What device types can Phonecheck erase?**
Phones, tablets, Mac, Windows, and Chromebook — plus wearables and audio — under one platform and one audit standard. Because the erasure layer is built on OEM technology, Phonecheck wipes device types other tools cannot, which raises your yield of successfully completed devices per intake.

**Can it run at our volume?**
Phonecheck floors range from a few thousand devices a month to hundreds of thousands at the largest processors. Conditional workflow automation routes each device to the right station and standard without per-device operator decisions, and a two-way API keeps your asset-management systems in sync in real time.

## For Buyback programs

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/industries/buyback

Carrier-grade trade-in processing at scale.

Carrier and OEM trade-ins processed at carrier-grade scale. Every device through the same gold-standard certification.

Accurate triage at intake. 80+ point diagnostics grade each trade-in on arrival — battery health, lock status, repair history, and cosmetic condition — so buyback decisions and payouts are based on verified data, not estimates.

The same certification on every device. Whether a unit comes in through a carrier program or an OEM channel, it passes through the same gold-standard certification and earns a Device History Report that carries downstream.

Built for high-volume throughput. Workflow automation routes each device to the right station, grade, and downstream channel automatically — built for floors processing high volumes of trade-ins without per-device operator decisions.

How it runs on the floor:
1. Intake in seconds. QuickCheck tests iPhones with no app and no setup; Google Mode brings Android intake to about five seconds. Devices enter the pipeline as fast as they arrive.
2. Pay out on verified data. Battery health comes straight from the device's own settings, boosted batteries are caught, and non-OEM parts are flagged — so trade-in values reflect true condition, not an estimate you eat later.
3. Erase while you test. Fast Erase runs the wipe in the background while the device is still being tested — completing in about four seconds, with no minimum battery and no intake delays.
4. Route to the right channel. Conditional workflows send each graded device to the right station and downstream channel automatically, with the Device History Report attached for resale.

Capabilities:
- QuickCheck — no-app, no-setup iPhone intake
- Google Mode — full Android setup in about 5 seconds
- Fast Erase — ~4-second background wipe with no minimum battery
- Boosted-battery detection and OEM parts authentication
- Automated routing by grade, station, and downstream channel
- Relay Mode keeps iPhones processing even when Apple's servers are down

**How do you keep payouts accurate?**
Every grade is built on objective, automated diagnostics: the battery reading is the exact value from the device's settings, the boosted-battery check catches modified batteries hiding their real health, and OEM parts authentication flags non-genuine screens, batteries, and cameras. Payouts track true condition, which protects margin on every trade-in.

**What does this do to our throughput?**
Intake is where trade-in programs stall, so Phonecheck removes the friction: no app to install on iPhones, about five seconds of setup on Android, and a wipe that runs in the background during testing instead of holding a station. Workflow automation then routes each device without operator decisions.

**Do carrier and OEM channel devices get the same certification?**
Yes. Every unit passes through the same gold-standard certification regardless of the channel it arrived through, and earns the same Device History Report — so downstream buyers see one consistent credential across your entire program.

## For Refurbishers

Get inventory marketplace-ready.

The Device History Report is the record most major marketplaces recognize: each device graded, carrier-cleared and blacklist-clean before it ships to a buyer.

The credential the marketplaces ask for. The Device History Report is the signed, immutable record most major marketplaces recognize, confirming each device is graded, carrier-cleared, and blacklist-clean before it ships.

Diagnostics and repair history in one pass. 80+ point diagnostics capture battery health, lock status, and cosmetic grade, while repair-history checks flag non-OEM replacement parts — so refurb quality is verified and documented before listing.

Erasure that closes the loop. Audit-grade erasure built to NIST 800-88 produces a signed certificate for each completed wipe, so refurbished inventory leaves your floor both data-clean and credentialed.

How it runs on the floor:
1. Triage inbound stock. 80+ point diagnostics establish each unit's true starting condition — battery, locks, cosmetics, and functional faults — so repair effort goes where it pays back.
2. Verify the repair. Detected Parts finds replaced components that even the OEM's own report doesn't show, and OEM parts authentication confirms screens, batteries, and cameras are genuine — before a marketplace buyer finds out otherwise.
3. Erase and certify. Audit-grade erasure built to NIST 800-88 produces a signed certificate per device, and the passing unit earns its Device History Report.
4. Ship marketplace-ready. Inventory leaves the floor graded, data-clean, and carrying the credential most major marketplaces recognize.

Capabilities:
- Device History Report recognized by most major marketplaces
- Detected Parts — finds replacements OEM reports don't show
- OEM parts authentication for screens, batteries, and cameras
- Boosted-battery check catches modified batteries hiding real health
- Erasure built to NIST 800-88, with a signed certificate per device
- Full lineup coverage — phones, tablets, computers, wearables, and audio

**Can it catch aftermarket parts in refurbished units?**
Yes — and more than the OEM's own reporting does. OEM parts authentication verifies screens, batteries, and cameras against Apple's own reporting, and Detected Parts finds replaced components that Apple's report does not show. Your grade reflects what is actually inside the device.

**Do marketplaces accept the certification?**
Yes. Most major marketplaces recognize the Phonecheck Device History Report.

**Does certification actually lift resale outcomes?**
A signed, verifiable condition record sets accurate buyer expectations, which is what drives returns and disputes down and protects your seller standing. Certified devices carry proof of grade, genuine parts, clean blacklist status, and completed data erasure into the listing.

## For Carriers & retail

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/industries/carriers

Built for trade-in at retail scale.

Embedded in store backrooms and processing centers. Built for high-touch trade-in programs at retail scale.

From the backroom to the processing center. The same diagnostics and certification run in store backrooms and central processing centers, so a device graded at retail intake carries a consistent, verified credential all the way through your operation.

Fast, consistent diagnostics at the counter. 80+ point diagnostics check battery health, lock status, and IMEI and carrier history in seconds — giving store staff verified results to set accurate trade-in values on the spot.

Erasure and audit trail on every device. Audit-grade erasure produces a signed certificate of erasure and full chain of custody for each trade-in, meeting the data-handling requirements retail and carrier programs operate under.

How it runs on the floor:
1. Intake at the counter. QuickCheck tests iPhones with nothing to install and Google Mode sets up Android in about five seconds — fast enough for a live customer interaction, simple enough for any store associate.
2. Quote on verified condition. The battery reading is the exact value from the customer's own Settings screen — they can confirm it on the spot — and the Device Integrity Check verifies IMEI, storage, color, and country straight from the device.
3. Secure the handoff. Erasure produces a signed certificate and the chain-of-custody record follows the device from the store to your processing center — no gaps between retail intake and central operations.
4. Process centrally, credential intact. The processing center runs the same platform and the same certification, and the two-way API keeps your trade-in systems synced in real time end to end.

Capabilities:
- QuickCheck counter intake — no app install, no setup
- Battery health identical to the device's own Settings screen
- Device Integrity Check — IMEI, storage, color, and country verified from the device
- One consistent certification from backroom to processing center
- Relay Mode — floors keep moving when Apple's servers go down
- Two-way API for real-time integration with your trade-in systems

**How much training do store associates need?**
Very little — the diagnostics are automated and objective, so there is no judgment call to train for. The workflow returns the next step to perform at each stage, and iPhone intake needs nothing installed on the customer's device.

**Does it integrate with our existing trade-in systems?**
Yes. Phonecheck's two-way API adapts to your facility and systems, syncs data in real time, and returns the next step to perform — so results flow into the trade-in stack you already run rather than replacing it.

**How is customer data handled on trade-ins?**
Every trade-in gets audit-grade erasure with a signed certificate of erasure and a full chain-of-custody record from the counter onward — built to NIST 800-88, meeting the data-handling requirements carrier and retail programs operate under.

## For Insurance & claims

Source: https://www.phonecheck.com/industries/insurance

Claims devices, sale-ready in hours.

Claims devices triaged, restored, and sale-ready in hours. One platform for diagnostics and erasure, end to end.

Triage and diagnose claims faster. 80+ point diagnostics establish the true condition of each claims device — battery health, lock status, repair history, and cosmetic grade — so faults are categorized accurately and claims move forward on verified data.

Erase and restore in one workflow. Audit-grade erasure built to NIST 800-88 produces a signed certificate of erasure, and zero-touch restore readies devices for resale — diagnostics and erasure handled end to end on one platform.

Recover value from claims inventory. Restored, certified devices carry a Device History Report into resale channels, helping insurers recoup value from claims inventory with a credential downstream buyers recognize.

How it runs on the floor:
1. Triage the claim. 80+ point diagnostics establish the device's true condition on arrival — the fault gets categorized on verified data, not on what the claim form says.
2. Adjudicate on evidence. OEM parts authentication, Detected Parts, and the boosted-battery check surface replaced components and hidden battery modification — objective evidence for claim decisions.
3. Erase and restore. Audit-grade erasure produces a signed certificate per device, and zero-touch restore brings recovered units back to a sale-ready state in the same workflow.
4. Return devices to revenue. Restored devices carry a Device History Report into resale channels — verified condition, clean locks and blacklist status, and documented erasure of the previous owner's data.

Capabilities:
- 80+ point diagnostics for objective fault categorization
- Detected Parts and OEM parts authentication for claims validation
- Lock, IMEI, and blacklist checks before restock
- Audit-grade erasure with a signed certificate per device
- Zero-touch restore to a sale-ready state
- Device History Report credential into resale channels

**Can diagnostics help validate claims?**
Yes — the same checks that grade devices surface claim evidence. OEM parts authentication and Detected Parts reveal replaced screens, batteries, and cameras (including ones the OEM's own report misses), the boosted-battery check catches batteries modified to hide their health, and the Device Integrity Check verifies IMEI, storage, color, and country straight from the device.

**How is the previous owner's data handled?**
Every recovered device goes through audit-grade erasure built to NIST 800-88, producing a signed certificate of erasure per device — documented proof the policyholder's data is gone before the device re-enters the market.

**How fast can claims devices get back to resale?**
Diagnostics, erasure, and restore run as one workflow on one platform: the 80+ point pass is automated, the wipe completes in about four seconds in the background, and zero-touch restore readies the device for sale — hours from intake to sale-ready, not weeks.
